Honda CBR 600 F 2011
Dal 1987 una vera e propria icona della media cilindrata, è la Honda CBR 600 F e per il 2011 si rinnova conservando sempre la sua vocazione mista di sportiva semplice, giusto compromesso tra prestazioni e comfort. Continua quindi la strada segnata nel 2001 F da quando, per esigenze sportive e di mercato, la CBR 600 fu sdoppiata nella versione meno esasperata caratterizzata dalla sigla F, dalla versione più sportiva per pure "smanettoni" Sport prima e RR dopo.
La Honda CBR 600 F quindi si pone tra Hornet, versione naked con la quale condivide la ciclistica telaio e sospenzioni, e la CBR 600 RR dalla quale ne deriva il propulsore 4 cilindri addolcito con 102 CV e caratterizzato da una erogazione più fluida e gestibile.
Il telaio è di tipo monotrave centrale in lega leggera mentre le sospensioni sono con forcella anteriore Showa a steli rovesciati da 41 mm, regolabile nel precarico ed estensione, e con forcellone a due bracci in lega con monoammortizzatore pluri-regolabile.
A frenare la CBR 600 F troviamo un impianto tradizionale con 2 dischi anteriori da 296 mm e pinza e doppio pistoncino e un disco singolo da 240 mm. L'ABS è disponibile come optional.

Kawasaki made to many bikes last year, and due to the economy the prcies are like 3k lower. honda and kawasaki are like apples and oranges. the kawasaki ninja will be faster than the honda cbr. due to honda having emmisions problems due to your local lovely state of california so they had to down grade the emmisions which ran down the horse power. maintaince wise they will be the same cost, buying up front i do so believe the kawasaki will be cheaper. both are very good bikes, but the ZX-6R would probably be the bike of choice.

Honda has the rep. I own and have owned a number of Hondas, and they are good bikes, well engineered, well-made, durable and sensible to work on. But right now, most of my bikes are dirt bikes or dual sports, and I find that most of them are Suzukis. I didn’t set out with the idea that Suzukis are better, it just turns out that they build bikes that suit my needs. They are also durable, well-finished and easy to work on.As a long-time BMW rider, I used to consider their bikes the best on the planet, and I could make a convincing case. I no longer think that is true, however. BMW makes excellent bikes, but the rest of the field has caught up; BMW’s current offerings are just expensive, without being any better.A company that builds very interesting, nicely-finished bikes is KTM. They haven’t yet come up with the bike of my dreams, but they have come close. If they did, I probably could not afford it.

There is no “best” brand. There are a lot of different factors that appeal to a lot of people. Heritage and community, Harley. Reliable metric, Honda. Reliable and powerful domestic, Victory. Comfortable sport bike, honda. good all round sport bike, Kawasaki and Yamaha. Holds value, Harley. I have owned a honda crusier, shadow 600, two kawi sport bikes, ninja 250 and zx6r, 2 harleys, vrod and fatboy, and the best bike in my opinion that I have owned is my current ride, my Victory kingpin. It is all a matter of opinion. Find the bike that moves you and ride it. Good Luck!
